European Under-21 champion and a return to WST
A 5–4 final victory over Oliver Sykes in Antalya gave Iulian Boiko the title and a two-year World Snooker Tour card.
On 17 March 2025 in Antalya, Iulian Boiko defeated Oliver Sykes 5–4 in the EBSA European Under-21 Championship final. The title came with a two-year World Snooker Tour card beginning with the 2025/26 season.
The final went all the way. Iulian led 3–1, Sykes drew level and, after the score reached 4–4, the last frame decided the match.
The victory ended Iulian’s three-year absence from the professional tour. It was also a sharp response to defeat in the deciding round of the Q Tour Global Play-Offs in Antalya only a few days earlier.
