First win on the professional tour

At the Gibraltar Open, Iulian beat Fergal O’Brien 4–3.

A 4–3 win over Fergal O’Brien at the Gibraltar Open gave Iulian Boiko his first professional tour victory. In the next round he led Mark Allen 3–1 before losing 3–4 on the final black.

In a World Snooker Tour interview, Iulian discussed improving his consistency and adapting to main-tour conditions.
